Lady Alpha was founded by Jacqueline and Jeremy Samuelson, a husband-and-wife team from Mesa, Arizona who drew inspiration from their personal experience. Jacqueline faced challenges while breastfeeding her first child, particularly in hot weather. Traditional nursing covers made her baby sweaty and uncomfortable, leading to fussiness and difficulty latching.

Determined to find a solution, Jacqueline searched for a breathable nursing cover but found none that addressed the heat issue. She shared her concerns with Jeremy, and together they conceptualized a innovative nursing cover with a built-in fan.

Their goal was to create a product that:

1. Provides airflow to keep baby cool

2. Allows for eye contact between mom and baby

3. Is safe, easy to use, and discreet

After researching and testing various prototypes created by Jacquelines grandmother, they developed and launched the world’s first breastfeeding cover of it’s kind; The Original - The Lady Alpha Nursing Cool Cover in 2023. Its unique features, such as the bladeless fan, adjustable neckline, and rechargeable design, make it an ideal solution for breastfeeding mothers.
